Functional Fitness for Golf
Learn an at-home workout developed to meet the specific
needs of a golfer. Improve the power behind your drives,
accuracy of your swing, and build strength and stability that
will support your joints to prevent injury. The course will
not cover the mechanics of a golf swing, but will cover
general body mechanics and injury prevention on the golf
course. Please bring a golf club. Other materials will be
provided.

Eating for Energy
Would you like to rival the energizer bunny –
going … going … going … This workshop can help you do just that.
Bring maximum energy into your life through the right choices
of primary and secondary food. Learn what nutritional and
lifestyle choices can keep your mind an body functioning at
their peak. Join Sandy Cloutier, of Pathway to Wellness, for
this exciting new workshop. Sandy is a Holistic Health
Counselor and Wellness Coach.

Partner Pilates
Working out is so much more fun when you have a partner to
motivate you and cheer you on. Bring your significant other to
learn a great work-out that you can repeat at home for
improved strength and flexibility. During the workout, you
will use your partner for both support and resistance…. how
“real life” is that?
Date: Wednesday, October 24, 7:00-8:30 pm
Cost: $30 per couple
Pilates for Horse Back Riding
Riders who have good core stability are able to sit quietly
in the saddle and allow their arms and legs to work freely and
softly around a stable base. Learn breathing techniques and an
at-home Pilates routine to help develop strength and stability
for riding. Movements on the mat will eventually allow your
core activation and deep breathing to come more naturally when
you need it for riding.
