Policies
REGISTRATION
Registration is recommended for
all classes, including mat. Priority will be given to
clients who have pre-registered. A sign-in sheet for classes
can be found in the lobby, or register by phone or email.
Reformer classes are limited to 6 participants and mat
classes are limited to 8. Groups are kept small to ensure
proper supervision. Classes can be purchased individually or
at a discounted rate for packages of 5, 10, or 20.
NEW STUDENTS
To establish a strong foundation in the technique, we
require new clients to begin with 5 hour-long individual
lessons. In the first session, we will evaluate your posture
and assess your goals, then introduce the basic principles
of body awareness that the Pilates Method is based on. The
following four lessons will allow us to tailor a program to
suit your needs, and will introduce mat and reformer
exercises to prepare you for group classes.
It is our priority that our clients are comfortable and
safe at every stage of their Pilates experience. Many people
have found group classes to be overwhelming as their first
exposure to Pilates. Private lessons allow an instructor to
become aware of an individual’s posture and muscle strengths
and weaknesses. Modifications or additional challenges in
exercises can be made to account for these. By the time a
client enters a group, it is our goal that they will
understand their body enough to know the modifications and
the muscle emphasis in the exercises that will be most
beneficial for them.
CLASS CARDS
Class cards are available in 5, 10 and 20 class packages.
All sales on packages are final. Packages purchased are
transferable, but not refundable. Class cards expire after
12 months of inactivity. Gift cards are also available.

Our studio requires at least 24 hours notice when canceling
